Meet Rannveig – Health and Wellness Coach for Women
My name is Rannveig and I work as a health and wellness coach, helping women build sustainable habits that support their energy, strength, and long-term wellbeing.
I am a certified physiotherapist, graduating in 2007, and have worked in clinical practice for most of the years since. In 2022, I moved abroad and shifted my focus toward a broader view of health — one that looks beyond symptoms and toward the whole picture of how a person is living and feeling. I completed my health coaching training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and hold a diploma in public health from the University of Iceland. Over the years I have also completed courses in Chinese acupuncture, studied in both China and Iceland, and continued learning across areas of nutrition, behaviour change, and lifestyle medicine.
What draws me to this work is the gap between knowing what would help and actually being able to do it consistently. Most of the women I work with are not short on information. They have tried things. They know the basics. What they are missing is a clearer understanding of what their own body and life actually needs right now — and a way of building change that does not collapse the moment things get busy or hard.
My approach to health and wellness coaching
I work with women from all backgrounds, including those who are managing a lot — work, family, caring responsibilities, and the pressure of feeling like they should be doing better. My role is not to add more to that list. It is to help you work out what actually matters for your health at this point in your life, and to find small, realistic ways of moving in that direction.
Sessions are online, relaxed, and built around your situation. We look at things like sleep, energy, movement, eating habits, stress, and how you are feeling about your health overall. There is no single protocol. What we focus on depends entirely on what is most relevant for you.
I combine my clinical background in physiotherapy with my coaching training, which means I can bring both a practical understanding of the body and a supportive, non-judgmental approach to behaviour change. I am not here to tell you what to do. I am here to help you figure out what works for you.
What it looks like to work together
Every coaching relationship starts with a free introductory session. This is a chance to talk through where you are, what you are hoping for, and whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no pressure and no obligation.
From there, I offer a three-session coaching package that gives us enough time to go deeper, identify what is holding you back, and start building habits you can actually keep. You can find out more on the coaching page.
If you are not sure where to start, the Your Sustainable Wellness Score is a free self-assessment that gives you a clearer picture of where your health and wellbeing stand right now. It takes about five minutes and comes with a personalised overview.
With care,
Rannveig
